Immunization Program

Overview:

Vaccination is one of the safest and most effective public health interventions to protect children, mothers, and communities from life-threatening diseases. Our Immunization Program ensures that life-saving vaccines are available, accessible, and free (if applicable) for all eligible populations.

Routine Immunization Services
          Provides vaccination for infants, children, adolescents, pregnant women, and adults against:

  •   Tuberculosis (BCG vaccine)
  •  Polio (OPV and IPV)
  •  Hepatitis B
  • Diphtheria, Pertussis, and Tetanus (DPT/Pentavalent vaccine)
  •  Haemophilus influenzae Type b (Hib)
  •  Measles and Rubella
  • Japanese Encephalitis
  • Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus (through Td vaccination for pregnant women)

Outreach and Mobile Immunization sessions
Conducts community-based vaccination sessions and mobile outreach services to ensure equitable access in remote and underserved areas.

Vaccine Education and Community Engagement
Promotes evidence-based vaccine information to address hesitancy, increase public confidence, and maintain high immunization coverage.
